Job summary

RealNZ is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Leader for Walter Peak High Country Farm, offering stunning lake and mountain views as your office. You will lead the Walter Peak F&B team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, oversee service operations, train and mentor staff, and support retail activities while maintaining food safety and presentation standards.

The role requires weekend work, a current LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate, and residence in the Queenstown area or immediate relocation.

• Bar and barista experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Current LCQ and Duty Manager certification.

With stunning lake and mountain views as your office, you'll lead by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences while supporting our Food & Beverage team in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

What's involved?

As our Food & Beverage Team Leader, you'll:

• Lead and support the Walter Peak Food & Beverage team
• Deliver outstanding customer service and memorable guest experiences
• Oversee food and beverage service operations
• Assist with training, coaching, and motivating team members
• Support retail and sales activities
• Ensure food safety, presentation, and operational standards are maintained
• Pitch in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly

What we're looking for

• Previous Food & Beverage leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong customer service and hosting skills
• Bar and barista experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to lead from the front
• A current LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate
• The ability to work weekends and flexible rostered shifts
• Current residence in the Queenstown area or the ability to relocate immediately
