As a Team Leader at Whare Akuaku you will be responsible for leading the cleaning team and ensuring every job is completed efficiently, to a consistently high standard, and within the allocated time frame. You will coordinate daily tasks, manage time effectively, monitor team performances and ensure all cleaning duties are completed thoroughly and correctly. You will lead by example being part of the cleaning team while supporting and motivating members, upholding Whare Akuaku standards and values, take ownership of the overall quality and successful completion of each service.
The Team Leader is responsible for leading, supporting and working alongside the cleaning crew to ensure all services are completed efficiently, consistently and to the high standards expected by Whare Akuaku and our clients.
The Team Leader is the key link between the cleaning team, management and the client expectation. This role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. The Team Leader takes ownership of each job, ensuring tasks are completed within the allocated time, quality standards are maintained, and clients receive a professional and positive experience.
The Team Leader will guide a team of cleaners, making sure all processes, procedures, tasks, and job requirements are followed to deliver cleaning services on time and to Whare Akuaku’s standard. This role involves working alongside the team on pre-sale, end-of-tenancy, pre-settlement, and new build cleaning jobs, or partnering as a duo to take responsibility for completing and maintaining the quality of routine tasks. You’ll also be hands‑on with the cleaning, ensuring every job is finished on schedule and to the expected standard.
