Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to manage evening cleaning operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm, with a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities include supervising cleaners, training staff, and ensuring tasks meet quality standards.

You will support the Contracts and Operations Manager and cover sites as needed. The ideal candidate has prior cleaning and supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and an attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard within scheduled timeframes.

• Recruit and onboarding cleaners for various contracts.
• Deliver Health & Safety toolbox talks to staff.
• Deliver stock and equipment to sites as required.
• Conduct quality audits as required.
• Perform cleaning duties as part of a hands-on operational role.

Essential Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• Must currently reside in New Zealand
• Hold and maintain a full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Successfully obtain and maintain Ministry of Justice and New Zealand Police clearances
