Arvida seeks a versatile gardener to create and maintain the gardens at our community, delivering natural techniques and quality service to residents who are at the heart of our care. You’ll work with a supportive team in a chemical-free environment and receive uniform, PPE, and ongoing training.
Ideal candidates have Level 3 Horticulture (Level 4 encouraged) with strong communication and teamwork, plus a NZ Drivers License and good fitness for a physically demanding role.

We garden using natural techniques and are looking for somebody with a true passion for gardening.
We pay market rates and provide a uniform, including quality wet weather gear, tools, and PPE. We provide training and we promote an educational path for our gardeners’ encouraging apprenticeships with Primary ITO.
This is a physically demanding job, and a high level of fitness is required.
