Job summary

Arvida Group is seeking a versatile and motivated gardener to create and maintain the gardens at our community. You will deliver great customer service to residents, using natural techniques and showing true passion for gardening in a physically demanding role.

We offer market-rate pay, uniform and PPE, and training with potential for an apprenticeship path through Primary ITO. A strong team culture and supportive environment are key to this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of plants, growth patterns.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop community gardens to a high standard.
• Use natural gardening techniques and practices.

Job Description

We are looking for a versatile and motivated gardener with a desire to create and maintain the stunning gardens at our community. Your dedication to great customer service will shine through for our residents, who are at the heart of all we do. We garden using natural techniques and are looking for somebody with a true passion for gardening.

We pay market rates and provide a uniform, including quality wet weather gear, tools, and PPE. We provide training and we promote an educational path for our gardeners’ encouraging apprenticeships with Primary ITO.

This is a physically demanding job, and a high level of fitness is required.

Ideally, Level 3 Horticulture with a desire to continue with Level 4 although this is not essential as training will be provided for an enthusiastic applicant

• Demonstrated competence in a similar role

• NZ Drivers License and the ability to drive a small manual truck
