Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a capable workforce coordinator to optimise store-wide scheduling, oversee training, and conduct strategic workforce planning. You will contribute to payroll accuracy and support store leadership by acting as Store Manager on scheduled shifts, fostering strong team collaboration.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaborative relationships, and a proactive approach to improve service and efficiency across the store network in Aotearoa.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee comprehensive training for the team, covering both multi-skilling and compliance requirements.
• Conduct strategic workforce planning to address future labor needs, including annual leave, succession, and certifications.
• Review weekly payroll for accuracy and resolve escalated process-related issues.
• Provide store leadership support by acting as the Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and fostering team collaboration.
