Te Kura o Tuahiwi in North Canterbury is seeking a registered primary teacher for a full-time Year 1–8 position at Kura Tuatahi. The contract is fixed-term from 28 January 2027 to 27 January 2028, with study leave available.
Our Māori-medium kura offers full immersion (level 1) and bilingual education (level 2) for students from Years 1 to 8. The successful kaiako will have strong curriculum knowledge, be innovative and collaborative, and demonstrate understanding of tikanga Māori and Te Reo

Our kura is situated in the beautiful Tuahiwi Pā, North Canterbury.
We are seeking a registered primary teacher who is an innovative and reflective kaiako.
A kaiako who has sound curriculum knowledge and likes to work in a collaborative workplace who can connect and engage with our tamariki and whānau. You must have an understanding of tikanga Māori and have knowledge of Te Reo Māori with a passion for bilingual education.
Experience within a Senior level class is preferable.
