The University of Waikato is establishing a Teaching Design and Innovation Studio to rethink learning design and teaching assessment. You will join as a founding team member, designing evaluation approaches and supporting staff to build portfolios that support reflective practice and academic advancement.

The role is full-time at Hamilton, supporting Tauranga and international settings, with a pro-rata salary starting at $115,904 per year and negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in higher education teaching and evaluation.
• Experience shaping teaching evaluation methodologies and portfolio development.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and learning analytics capability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement university-wide approaches to teaching evaluation.
• Support staff to build teaching portfolios underpinning promotion and recognition.
• Lead development of teaching recognition and awards programmes and benchmarks.
