Job summary

The University of Waikato is seeking an Evaluation, Recognition and Teaching Portfolio Lead to drive university-wide teaching evaluation and portfolio development. You will collaborate with academic staff to build reflective practice and promote teaching excellence across campuses, including international settings.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Teaching Design and Innovation Studio, you will lead recognition programmes, define metrics, and coordinate peer review to support career

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, evaluation, or related field required.
• Doctorate or Senior/Principal Fellowship would be advantageous.
• Experience in teaching evaluation methodologies and portfolio development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement university-wide teaching evaluation approaches.
• Support academic staff to build reflective teaching portfolios for promotion.
• Develop and manage teaching recognition and awards programmes.
• Establish benchmarks and metrics for teaching quality and impact.
