Wellington High School & Com Ed Centre - 273 in Wellington is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Teacher Aide to join our in-class support team for Term 1, 2027.

The role supports individual students in a busy mainstream class, across subjects including Science and Maths; ideal candidate has experience with secondary education and learning processes, and can build relationships quickly. 28 hours per week, term-time only, start date depends on availability and police vetting.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Teacher Aide to join our in class support team for Term 1, 2027. This position will suit someone who is able to work with and support individual students within a busy mainstream class environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of secondary education, teaching and learning processes, and willwork with students across a range of subjects including Science and Maths. The successful applicant will support learning, respond to individual needs and liaise with teachers.Patience, a sense of humour, adaptability and the ability to form relationships quickly are essential.

Experience of working with students with learning needs is advantageous. Experience of working with students with ADHD, specific learning needs and autistic spectrum conditions is desirable.

The position is for 28 hours per week. This is a permanent term time only position exclusive of annual leave.

The start date will be determined dependent on the successful applicant's availability and the return of police vetting checks.
