Job summary

Te Kuiti Pizza Store in Waikato is seeking team members for a busy pizza store. You must be passionate about food, reliable and thrive under pressure. Some shifts may be required at Waiuku store in Auckland to cover staff shortages.

Number of positions: 03. Permanent full-time, minimum 30 hours per week, rotating Monday to Sunday. Pay rate $24-$25 per hour. Must have Level 1 qualification, be over 18, hold a full driving licence, and pass a drug test.

• At least Level 1 qualification (High School).

Responsibilities

• Preparing the pizzas from the menu and customer specials.
• Preparing dough, sauces, and garlic breads as per standards.
• Washing, preparing and cutting toppings and meats.
• Making fresh pizza sauces and storing them correctly.
• Operating and controlling ovens, grills and temps.
• Follow dietary requirements when preparing food.
• Assist in ordering inventory and maintain stock levels.
• Take deliveries of stock, take orders, serve customers and take payments.
• Ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Keep work areas and utensils clean, hygienic and tidy.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Delivery of pizza as required.

We are currently looking for team members to join our busy Pizza Store located in Te Kuiti, Waikato. You must have passion towards food and ability to thrive under pressure. You will have a positive and right attitude, committed, reliable and be really helpful. You may have to work at our Waiuku, Auckland store from time to time, if required, to cover staff shortage and operational needs.

Minimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 Hours

Days required: Monday to Sunday (rotating hours)

Pay Rate: $24 - $ 25 per hour

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• - Preparing the Pizzas from the menu and as per customer special requirements
• - Preparing the variety of dough for pizzas (stretching, saucing and cheesing) and garlic breads as per Pizza Hut's recipe and standards
• - Washing, preparing and cutting the topping vegetables and variety of meat
• - Making fresh pizza sauces and storing them at the right temperature
• - Operating and Controlling the temperatures of the cooking equipment, ovens and grills
• - Follow the instructions and prepare the food as per the dietary requirements
• - To assist in ordering the inventory and maintaining the stock levels
• - Taking deliveries of the stock ordered
• - Taking orders, serving the customer and receiving the payments from customers
• - Ensuring the customer orders are completed in timely manner
• - Keeping the work areas and utensils always clean, hygienic and tidy
• - Ensuring the compliance meet with all health and safety regulations
• - Delivery of Pizza as and when required

A successful candidate must have:
