Job summary

North Island - Wellington Hutt Valley is seeking a storeperson to manage a very busy pizza store in Lower Hutt. The role involves supervising dough preparation, table assistants, delivery coordinators, and other staff to keep orders flowing smoothly.

The candidate should be able to stand for several hours, coordinate kitchen and front-of-house activities, and help with rostering and stock control. A clean driving licence and at least 1 year of experience or a high school qualification are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year work experience or a high school qualification.
• Hold a clean full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of dough preparation, table assistants, delivery coordinators and other personnel.
• Conduct staff training sessions on service standards, food safety and service standards.
• Assist with staff rostering and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee operations on shift, coordinate kitchen, front of house, cut table and maintain efficiency.
• Receive, check, and unload deliveries; inspect goods for damage against invoices.
• Organise and maintain stock in dry storage, chiller, and freezer areas; monitor stock levels.
