FirstCape is seeking a detail-focused Tax Analyst to join our CFO Department in Auckland or Wellington. You’ll support tax compliance, reporting and governance across our wealth advisory and asset management group.
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you’ll prepare tax calculations, reconciliations and returns, maintain documentation, and contribute to tax policy and process improvements in a regulated financial services environment.

We are looking for a detail-focused and analytical Tax Analyst to join our CFO Department and support the delivery of tax compliance, reporting and governance obligations across FirstCape. This role can be Auckland or Wellington based.
Reporting to the Tax Manager and working closely with the Head of Tax, you’ll help prepare tax calculations, reconciliations, returns, workpapers and supporting analysis across a complex financial services group encompassing wealth advisory, asset management, custody and platform operations. You’ll maintain clear documentation and audit trails, help evidence tax controls, and contribute to the consistent application of tax policies and procedures across FirstCape.
This is an opportunity to build your technical tax expertise in a complex and regulated environment while contributing to tax governance initiatives, process improvements and broader Finance and Business Unit activities.

You’ll bring a collaborative and proactive approach, alongside:
Exposure to financial services, funds management or wealth management environments, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, would be advantageous but are not essential.
