Job summary

Fonterra is seeking a hands-on Tax Accounting Manager to lead tax reporting across a large multinational business. You will own current and deferred tax calculations, support forecasting and budgeting, and partner with Group Finance and external auditors to ensure audit-ready positions.

You will drive process improvements, leverage technology and AI, and work in a collaborative Group Tax team within a global dairy co-operative. Hybrid working and NZ-wide collaboration options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in tax accounting for large corporate/multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review current and deferred tax calculations and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly/annual tax accounting activities in line with Group Finance reporting.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and liaison with auditors.
