Job summary

Whakaata Māori, Aotearoa New Zealand’s indigenous national broadcaster, seeks an experienced Tātai Whetū Change & Capability Lead to guide a major transformation. You will lead change, readiness and capability uplift across governance, programme management and workstreams, delivering sustainable, kaupapa Māori-aligned transformation.

With a 12-month fixed-term role, you will shape operating models, stakeholder engagement and learning frameworks to ensure successful adoption and benefits

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience leading organisational change and capability uplift.
  • Experience developing change management approaches and organisation design.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
  • Commitment to developing te reo Māori capability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop change strategies, readiness frameworks and stakeholder engagement approaches.
  • Support leaders to understand and manage change implications within their ranga.
  • Lead organisation design activities including future operating models.
  • Identify workforce capability requirements and develop capability frameworks and learning approaches.
  • Monitor readiness and elevate implementation risks.
  • Provide reporting and insights to governance forums.
