Job summary

Tranzit Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Company Manager to lead our Taranaki operation from New Plymouth. The role focuses on safe, reliable service across school, charter, tours and public transport, with strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

You will drive performance across safety, customer experience, operations and financials while leading a frontline team of over 80 drivers and supporting staff, supported by regional and CIT networks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large frontline teams in complex service delivery.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and stakeholders.
• Financial literacy and ability to manage KPIs, budgets and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Taranaki business with a safety-first culture and reliable day-to-day service delivery.
• Own performance across safety, people, customer experience, operations, financials, KPIs and P&L.
• Lead local business planning, budgeting and execution of key priorities.
• Build strong client, stakeholder and community relationships.
• Drive commercial and operational performance through planning and continuous improvement.
• Ensure governance, compliance, employment relations and health and safety practices.
• Translate CIT objectives into practical local execution.
• Provide visible leadership to over 80 drivers, local operational support, training and health and safety representatives.
