Job summary

Nylon, a fast-growing AI research tools company, is seeking a Talent Lead to shape who we hire across NZ, Australia, the UK and USA. You’ll define what world-class looks like for each role and build the pipeline, screening and onboarding processes.

Based in the Auckland CBD office, you’ll partner with senior leadership, own the hiring playbook, and scale our talent function as we expand across time zones and markets.

• 5+ years in talent acquisition at a fast-growing company
• Proven ability to build and lead hiring processes
• Strong interviewing and assessment skills across multiple regions

Responsibilities

• Define role profiles and lead end-to-end hiring process (sourcing, screening, interviews, references, offers)
• Raise the hiring bar for each role while moving quickly
• Hire across NZ, Australia, UK and USA
• Create scorecards, interview loops and a compelling employer brand
• Leverage technology to build scalable recruitment systems

Backed by Australasia's top VCs, we're expanding into the USA while relentlessly deepening our position in the UK and Australia.

That expansion runs on people. We're looking for a Talent Lead to ensure we're finding, assessing and onboarding world-class people across four countries.

The role

You'll work with our senior leadership and team leads to define what world-class looks like for each role, then build the pipeline, run the process and make the hire. Much of our expansion ahead is in the USA, UK and Australia, so you'll work across time zones, employment norms and talent pools with teams in every office. We have a strong in-person culture, so you'll be based full-time in our Auckland CBD office, with authority over the whole playbook.

What you'll be doing

• Running searches from role definition through sourcing, screening, structured interviews, references and offers

• Setting the bar for each role and holding it while moving fast

• Hiring concurrently across New Zealand, Australia, the UK and the USA

• Building scorecards, interview loops and an employer brand that world-class operators want to join

• Using the best technology and methods to build and execute a system which scales

• You've proven yourself in this role at a fast-growing company and can point to the teams you built

• You operate like an owner and fix problems before anyone asks

• You're a sharp judge of people, relying on a repeatable method rather than instinct

• You're a clear, direct communicator who can represent us credibly to senior candidates in any market

• You love the scale-up stage, with high ambition, high ownership and real decisions

• You have the permanent right to work in New Zealand

• International hiring experience is an advantage
