Job summary

The Athlete’s Foot in St Lukes, Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced footwear retail environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets with the support of MyFit 3D technology.

You will play a pivotal role in team development, stock control, and visual merchandising while delivering outstanding service and contributing to a caring community through

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Assistant Store Manager or senior Sales Assistant, Key Holder, Supervisor or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting KPIs and sales targets.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Solid understanding of stock control and visual merchandising best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, utilising our MyFit 3D technology.
• Motivate and inspire your team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor team performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to effectively manage rosters and control wage spend within company guidelines.
• Support daily store operations, ensuring high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Champion team training, development, and succession planning to build a strong, skilled workforce.
• Foster community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements in line with national and state regulations.

As Assistant Store Manager, You'll

• Proven success in meeting KPIs and sales targets
