Job summary

Cubic Defense is seeking a Test Engineer to perform test engineering assignments following established standards. You will define test plans, develop procedures, and support production testing with cross-functional teams at Cubic and customer sites.

Qualifications include a tertiary degree in electronics or related field and at least two years of production/test experience, with hands-on use of test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications

• Two years experience related to production, test and evaluation, or test equipment development.
• Thorough understanding of engineering documents and schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals for test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews proposed engineering test requirements and criteria for production.
• Assists in developing test procedures, documentation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Coordinates with Design and Quality Engineering to resolve problems prior to release.
• Supports production testing by providing liaison between test, manufacturing and design.
• Prepares for and carries out formal acceptance testing with customers at Cubic sites or abroad.
