Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Supply Chain professional in New Zealand to strengthen our APAC practice. The role focuses on supply planning, supplier engagement, and logistics, with a strong emphasis on scenario planning, S&OP execution, and data-driven decision making.

You will work with cross-functional teams, use SCM systems, SQL, and EDI standards to optimize operations, deliver value to clients, and contribute to sustainable, efficient supply chain solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, supplier engagement, or logistics.
• Ability to model multiple business scenarios (e.g. merch plan vs demand plan vs supply plan).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• SQL proficiency.
• Familiarity with EDI formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, CSV) and document types (PO, ASN, Invoices).

Responsibilities

• Participate in scenario planning and S&OP execution.
• Model multiple business scenarios (merch plan vs demand plan vs supply plan).
• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize supply plans.
• Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
• Support implementation of SCM systems and processes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
