Job summary

Jobspace in New Zealand is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our busy team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP through to Christmas. You will provide administrative backbone, act as first point of contact for hiring managers and candidates, and help ensure a smooth recruitment experience across the organisation.

Your day-to-day includes setting up vacancies, arranging interviews, handling pre-employment checks, and supporting data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Sound administration skills with intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle deadlines and high volumes.
  • Great relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Previous experience in a government agency or large, complex organisation is a plus.
  • A team player with a genuine desire to deliver a high-quality service.
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how to apply its principles in practice.
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks.
