HealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our surgical team in Christchurch. This 0.8 FTE fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2027 and involves a rotating roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.

A comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development are provided in a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Two positions are available; please indicate which role you would like in your cover letter.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years Surgical Experience.
• Wound care and/or Plastic Burns experience.
• Ability to work across all shifts - Morning, Afternoon and Nights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality patient care within the surgical team.
• Support ongoing professional development and utilise orientation resources.
• Contribute to a rotating roster across mornings, afternoons and nights.
• Work across hand, breast and plastic surgery services as required.
