Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites applications for a Plastics Fellow at Waikato Hospital for a one-year fixed-term training year commencing March 2027. The role sits within a team of about 8 surgery consultants and 11 junior doctors, offering exposure to hand and reconstructive trauma within a busy tertiary service.

Applicants should be well advanced in plastic surgery training and prepared to join registrar on-call duties; leadership and teamwork are emphasised in a health equity

Formación

• Well advanced in plastic surgery training.
• Experience in hand, burn trauma or reconstructive emergencies would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in registrar on-call roster, including long days and weekends.
• Provide plastics service alongside a team of consultants and junior doctors.
• Contribute to leadership, teamwork and equity in health within the service.
