Tamahere Hospital and Healing Centre, sited on 15 acres of culturally historic whenua in the heart of Ngaati Haua between Cambridge and Hamilton.
We are looking for people who have a strong interest in providing support either at Tamahere Hospital, Kohi Maara Institute or Hinau Supported Living or a combination of roles.
The casual and part time roles have been designed to attract mature people who may be in tertiary study or looking for additional work alongside a full time job and the full time roles have been designed to offer a career pathway for those wanting to work in the health landscape.
Tamahere Hospital and Healing Centre is a 24 hour fully staffed minimum secure forensic inpatient facility, that has a strong tikanga Maori based Kaupapa.
This role will work alongside our Kohi Maara Kaupapa Maaori therapeutic day programme.

On any given day you may:
Shift Patterns:
Day shift: 8am - 4pm - 7 days a week
Evening: 4pm - 12pm or 2pm to 10pm - 7 days a week.
Kohi Maara Institute is a Therapeutic day program which runs daily out of Tamahere Hospital and Healing Centre which is a 24 hour fully staffed minimum secure forensic inpatient facility, that has a strong tikanga Maori based Kaupapa.
Day shifts: 8am to 2.30pm or can extend to 4pm

Hinau Supported Living is our supported accommodation facility located in Hamilton East.
This role of Pou Raranga | Therapeutic Coordinator requires someone to work independently after a full orientation is undertaken, and is a fulfilling and important position that requires someone prepared to work alongside the team supporting whanau | residents.
Hinau has a 7 day work matrix.
Day shifts: 7am – 3pm
PM shifts: 3pm – 11pm
