Job summary

Medcall Health Personnel in Queenstown, South Island seeks compassionate carers to provide home-based and community disability support. You will help clients live well, supporting daily activities and personal care in their homes.

Shifts range from 1 hour to a full day, often Monday–Friday 9:00am–3:00pm, with flexible casual hours available. L2–L4 Health Qualifications are essential; own car and NZ driver's license required, along with valid work rights. We cannot support visas for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering home-based or community disability support is essential.
• L2–L4 Health Qualifications are essential.
• Own car and full NZ driver license required; valid work rights in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to clients in their homes or communities.
• Support clients to live well and maintain independence.
• Flexible/shifts from 1 hour to full days; mainly home management hours.

Florence Nightingale Agency provides care and support to people in need. Our clients live with a wide range of challenges through to achieving amazing accomplishments! Sometimes they need supports because they are unwell, recovering from an injury or just needing a bit more help. Sometimes they need a companion or 'their person' to help them live their life and achieve their goals!

If you are currently located in the wider Queenstown area, we are keen to hear from you if you:

• Are a support worker with home-based / community / disability support experience


• Have your own car and full driver license,


• The want to give back / care for others then


• Have valid work rights in New Zealand


• L2, L3 and L4Health Qualifications are essential


• If you have no Health Qualifications, your application may not be considered.

The availability we are ideally looking for are:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm


• Shifts can range from 1 hour to part time or full day hours, this ranges depending of the clients wants and needs.


• We can only mainly offer Home Management hours at the moment.
