Job summary

Hōhepa Canterbury is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Christchurch. You will work closely with the person supported to foster independence, meaningful routines, and community participation in a holistic, supportive environment.

No previous experience is required as we provide on-the-job training. A full NZ driver’s licence and right to work in NZ are required; shifts include part-time, full-time, wakeover, and sleepover options.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided; prior experience not required.
• Ability to read situations and apply boundaries thoughtfully.
• Willingness to support personal cares and daily activities.

Responsibilities

We're currently looking for Support Workers to join our team, with a range of roles available depending on your experience and preferred shifts. We operate 24/7 and offer:

This position’s salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.95 and $30 per hour.
