Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Data Scientist to partner with Global Supply Chain teams to improve forecasting, optimisation, and prescriptive analytics. You will deploy data science solutions across demand and supply planning, inventory, and related functions, embedding them into operations with measurable outcomes.

Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, opportunities exist for Adelaide, Brisbane, or Auckland candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in forecasting, optimization, and ML solutions.
• Experience taking analytics or ML models into production deployment.
• Solid understanding of statistics and model validation techniques.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Supply Chain to translate challenges into analytical solutions.
• Design and develop forecasting, optimization, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Own end-to-end data science lifecycle: exploration, development, validation, productionisation, monitoring.
