Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead from the front on the Chatham Islands. You’ll plan and organise work safely, ensure the right people and materials are in place, and keep jobs moving across your area.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, quality, and people, with close collaboration across roading, water and waste for a remote client site.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ supervisory leadership experience in road maintenance or civil construction.
• 10+ years’ experience in civil construction and maintenance with strong operations know-how.
• Full Class 1 and 2 licences with WTR endorsements; Class 4 is highly regarded.
• Experience using AWM along with Word and Excel.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead from the front and deliver good work every day on the Chatham Islands. You’ll plan and organise work safely, make sure the right people, plant and materials are in place, and keep jobs moving across your area.

This is a hands-on leadership role where safety, quality, delivery and people all matter. You’ll lead operational crews, provide clear onsite direction, and step in when needed, working closely with the client, consultant and Fulton Hogan team across roading, water and waste.

• Lead crews to deliver maintenance work safely, efficiently and to a high standard across the Chatham Islands contract.

• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, the local community and your team, while supporting crew development and performance.

• 10+ years’ experience in civil construction and maintenance, with strong operational know-how.

• Experience using AWM along with great Word and Excel skills.
• Strong planning, organisation, communication and relationship-building skills, with a practical, safety-first and team-focused approach.
