Job summary

Visy is seeking a production supervisor based at our Auckland site. You will lead day-to-day shift operations, coach and develop team members, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strict safety standards.

The PM shift runs 3:30pm through to early morning, with staggered supervisors for full coverage. You’ll manage performance, ensure output targets are met, and collaborate with internal teams to support efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production or manufacturing teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance management capability.
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement practices (desirable).
• Corrugated or packaging industry experience (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

Job description

The Opportunity

Based at Wiri, Auckland and reporting to the Shift Manager, this role is responsible for leading production crews to deliver safe, high-quality output across shift operations. You will take ownership of day-to-day production performance, ensuring productivity, output and quality targets are achieved while maintaining strong safety standards.

You will coach and develop team members, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational outcomes. This role supports afternoon and night shift operations, with the PM shift running from 3:30pm through to early morning. Supervisors are staggered across shifts to provide full operational coverage and effective leadership across the site.
