Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Upper Hutt is seeking a warm and energetic Seasonal Team Member to help customers bring their homes and outdoor spaces to life. This hands-on, role offers variety as you assist with product selection, provide excellent service, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

You will work 32 hours over Wednesday to Sunday, with a focus on merchandise, stock integrity, and building knowledge to support customers through the sales process.

A bit about the role…

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Seasonal Team Member. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where no two days are the same.

You'll be helping customers bring their homes and outdoor spaces to life - whether that's finding the perfect BBQ, heating solution, outdoor furniture, or seasonal garden products.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Delivering exceptional in-store and after-sales customer service
• Assisting customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
• Maintaining stock integrity and eye-catching merchandising
• Building product knowledge to better support our customers
• Supporting general store operations as part of a wider team

We're looking for…

We're seeking motivated, reliable team players who enjoy working with people and take pride in their work. Ideally, you'll bring:

• A genuine passion for customer service and sales
• A strong work ethic with a positive, 'can-do' attitude
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Confidence using computers and learning new systemsStrong attention to detail and flexibility
• Physical capability for manual handling, prolonged standing, and ladder use
• A good understanding of Health & Safety practices

Roster available:

Full Time

Wednesday - Sunday, 32 Hours

You must be available through to mid January 2027
