Structural Steel Fabricator

We’re looking for experienced Structural Steel Fabricators to join a well-established engineering company in Wellington.

This is a hands‑on workshop role suited to fabricators who are confident working from engineering drawings and producing structural steel components accurately from start to finish.

The Role

You’ll be working across a range of structural steel projects in a busy engineering workshop, with plenty of ongoing work available. Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Fabricating structural steel components and assemblies
• Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and fitting steel
• Working with beams, columns, frames and structural sections
• Setting up and assembling components accurately
• Checking measurements and finished work against drawings
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
