Western Bay of Plenty District, North Island
We are looking for Structural Maintenance Technicians for our busy horticulture business based in the sunny Bay of Plenty. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery and performing Structural Maintenance in Orchards across Bay of Plenty.
To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification at Level 4 or above or at least two years of work experience. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.
You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, cherry pickers and other carpentry tools to erect structures and complete structural maintenance work. You will also need to train new employees and complete orchard block maintenance including trellis, post work, netting and post work. You will also complete paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible.
This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $28 and a maximum of $35 for this position.
