Job summary

Archway Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer to work on residential and industrial projects in Hamilton and the Waikato. You will handle projects from concept to completion, including structural design, client liaison, site inspections, council coordination and documentation.

You will work closely with the business owner, gaining mentoring and the independence to manage client relationships and project scope.

Qualifications

• Experience designing timber, steel and concrete structures.
• Solid understanding of NZ building standards and construction practices.
• Experience consulting for clients and managing projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems from concept through to completion.
• Liaise directly with clients and coordinate with councils.
• Perform site inspections and prepare technical documentation.
