Job summary

Mekano Talent is partnering with a well-established NZ consultancy to recruit a Civil/Structural Engineer. The role focuses on the structural design of residential, commercial and industrial buildings across steel, concrete, masonry and timber, with emphasis on seismic assessments and ETABS modelling.

Qualifications

• A Civil or Structural Engineering degree is required.
• At least 3 years’ structural design experience in a NZ consultancy.
• Confidence with NZ design standards and structural software (ETABS).
• NZ residency or citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Structural design of residential, commercial and industrial buildings in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Seismic assessments (IEPs and DSAs) and ETABS modelling.
• Producer Statements, site inspections and construction observation.
