Job summary

Salt is seeking a Recruitment & Workforce Consultant for a 3‑month, office‑based assignment in Grafton, Auckland. The role runs 5 days per week, with $38.50–$39 per hour plus 8% holiday pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in HR, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Experience using ATS, HRIS, CRM, or other database systems.
• Experience managing onboarding, compliance, and employment documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, referencing and onboarding candidates.
• Coordinate workforce placements and assignments, ensuring business needs and individual preferences are effectively balanced.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers, stakeholders and candidates, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate workforce records, employment documentation and candidate information across internal systems.
• Deliver a high level of candidate care while keeping stakeholders informed of vacancies, placements and workforce changes.
