Job summary

ERoad is seeking a commercially minded Sourcing Manager (Direct) to lead strategic sourcing across Direct Commodities and Contract Manufacturer management. You will manage supplier relationships, lead commercial negotiations, and ensure sourcing decisions meet business, technical, commercial and compliance requirements.

You will partner with internal teams to run RFQ/RFP processes, analyse spend and market trends, and build resilient supplier pipelines in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or CM management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative working style with cross-functional influence across internal teams and suppliers.
• Analytical, data-led mindset to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Direct Commodities, Contract Manufacturers, and assigned supplier categories.
• Lead supplier and CM identification, evaluation, selection, onboarding, and ongoing commercial relationship management.
• Lead RFQ, RFP, tender, and negotiation processes to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Analyse spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers, and risks to identify opportunities.
• Partner with Finance, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Operations to ensure compliant, value-driven decisions.
• Manage CM relationships, performance, capacity, service levels, and risks with stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and market movements, escalating issues as required.
• Build supplier pipelines and alternate sourcing to improve resilience.
• Support make-buy, obsolescence, and transitions with Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain accurate sourcing and contract information for governance.
