Job summary

New Zealand School Property Agency is seeking a Property Partner to lead senior relationships with schools, coordinate property responses, and align maintenance, renewal, upgrade and capital works. You’ll work with school leaders to understand priorities, navigate day-to-day property matters, and drive capital investments for safe, future-ready learning environments.

You will foster trust, provide confidence, and coordinate a cross-functional team of planning, investment, procurement, delivery

Qualifications

Proven ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Experience influencing outcomes in complex environments.
Understanding of property, infrastructure or project delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the relationship and coordinated property response for assigned schools.
Build trusted partnerships with school leaders and understand their priorities and long‑term property needs.
Maintain an integrated view across maintenance, renewal, upgrades, and capital works programmes.
Coordinate planning, funding, and delivery by bringing together planning, investment, procurement, delivery and technical expertise.
Provide clear information on projects, risks, funding, and investment opportunities and maintain visibility of progress.
