Job summary

New Zealand Government is seeking a Property Partner to lead senior relationships with schools and manage complex property needs. You will coordinate maintenance, renewal, upgrade and capital works, delivering a clear, coordinated response and building trusted partnerships with school leaders.

You will bring strategic thinking, relationship skills and a strong understanding of property delivery to support safer, more future-ready learning environments for students and communities.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the relationship and coordinated property response for assigned schools.
• Build trusted partnerships with school leaders and understand their priorities and long-term property needs.
• Maintain an integrated view across maintenance, renewal, upgrade and capital works programmes.
• Provide clear information on projects, risks, funding and investment opportunities.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance the experience and outcomes for schools.
