Job summary

Tuakau College is seeking an exceptional executive manager to join the leadership team, guiding the school's business, property and administration functions to support outstanding educational outcomes.

Reporting to the principal, you will develop budgets, monitor planning, manage contracts, and collaborate with staff, whānau and the board to drive sustainable growth and organisational capability aligned with the school's long-term vision.

Qualifications

• Senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Strong financial management and business planning skills.
• Experience within the education sector is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the school's business, property, and administrative operations.
• Work with the principal to develop and monitor budgets, reporting, and long-term planning.
• Manage contracts, procurement, and key service providers.
• Support strategic planning and organisational growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Ministry requirements, and school policies.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture across all operational functions.
• Provide high-level advice and support to the principal and board.
