Job summary

Tuakau College in Tuakau, NZ, is seeking an exceptional Executive Manager to join our leadership team. This pivotal role provides strategic and operational leadership across business, property, and administrative functions to support outstanding educational outcomes.

Reporting to the Principal and working with staff, whānau, the Board, and external stakeholders, you will shape the school's strategic direction and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Strong financial management and business planning skills.
• Exceptional organisational and project management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
• A commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of young people.
• Experience within the education sector is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the school's business, property and administrative operations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, reporting and long-term planning with the Principal.
• Manage contracts, procurement and key service providers.
• Support strategic planning and organisational growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, Ministry requirements and school policies.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture across operations.
• Provide high-level advice and support to the Principal and Board.
