Job summary

WSP New Zealand seeks a Regional Controller to join our high performing finance leadership team in Wellington. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with the business to provide expert accounting guidance and be the principal advisor on accounting matters, driving financial accuracy and strategic decisions.

You will lead finance teams in a matrix environment, influence senior stakeholders, and oversee Financial Operations in collaboration with Global Business Services and Global Support

Qualifications

• Experience at a senior level in finance and accounting within a complex, project-based or professional services environment.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear actions for executives.
• Experience leading finance teams in a matrix environment with coaching, prioritization and stakeholder management.
• Strong systems, modelling and reporting capability across ERP, EPM and BI tools; finance transformation or ERP implementation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality accounting and financial advice to the business and act as principal accounting advisor.
• Lead finance teams in a matrix environment, with coaching and change leadership.
• Oversee Financial Operations, coordinating with Global Business Services and Global Support Services.
