Job summary

WSP New Zealand is seeking a Regional Controller to join our high-performing finance leadership team in Auckland. Reporting to the CFO, you will provide high quality accounting and financial advice and be the principal advisor on accounting matters.

You will lead finance operations, partner with the business to influence decisions, and manage teams across a matrix organization while ensuring strong systems and reporting capabilities across ERP, EPM and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience at a senior level in finance and accounting or finance leadership within a complex, project-based environment.
• Proven ability to advise and influence senior operational and executive stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear actions and decisions.
• Experience leading finance teams in a matrix environment, with coaching, prioritization, stakeholder management and change leadership.
• Strong systems, modelling and reporting capability across ERP, EPM and BI tools; experience with finance transformation, shared services or ERP implementation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality accounting and financial advice and be the principal advisor on accounting matters.
• Partner with the business to support decision-making and performance.
• Lead Financial Operations, coordinating with Global Business Services and Global Support Services teams.
• Demonstrate strategic and commercially minded leadership, simplifying complexity and guiding teams through change.
