Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a procurement professional to bring expert advice across sourcing, commercial and governance activities, working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective procurement outcomes in a complex environment.

You'll provide trusted guidance on procurement policy, process and risk, support the Procurement Lead with capability development, and contribute to continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience and a solid understanding of sourcing, commercial and procurement principles.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the confidence to provide advice and influence constructively.
• Commercially minded, with sound judgement around value and procurement outcomes.
• Clear communicator who can work effectively across a complex and diverse organisation.
• Organised, pragmatic and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical procurement advice across sourcing, commercial, risk and governance activities.
• Support stakeholders through procurement processes, from requirements and market engagement through to evaluation and supplier selection.
• Provide guidance on procurement policy, process and best practice, with attention to risk and commercial considerations.
• Support the Procurement Lead with policy, process and capability development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and consistent procurement practice across the organisation.
