Job summary

Firearms Safety and Education New Zealand is the autonomous firearms regulator based in Wellington. This six-month assignment is to establish FSENZ as an autonomous agency, uniting teams across HR streams and delivering a cohesive people experience for kaimahi.

You will lead a diverse team, provide strategic people advice to the leadership group, and design initiatives to strengthen our employee value proposition while turning people data into insightful reporting.

Qualifications

• Provide strong leadership and direction to your direct and indirect reports.
• Provide strategic people advice to the leadership team.
• Collaborate with colleagues at Police to map out the host agency working arrangements and services end-to-end.
• Design and implement initiatives to support the development of our own employee value proposition.
• Work with colleagues across other teams to pull together our people data and turn this into insightful reporting.
