Firearms Safety and Education New Zealand is seeking a Head of People and Capability for a six-month fixed-term assignment in Wellington. The role leads HR across functions, shaping people strategy and an employee value proposition as the agency establishes itself autonomously within the wider firearms regulatory system.

You will unite cross-functional teams, drive leadership alignment, and develop data-driven reporting to support safe and compliant firearms governance.

Aufgaben

• Provide strong leadership and direction to direct and indirect reports
• Provide strategic people advice to the leadership team
• Collaborate with Police colleagues to map host agency working arrangements and services end-to-end
• Design and implement initiatives to support the development of the employee value proposition
• Work with colleagues across teams to gather people data and turn it into insightful reporting
