Motion is expanding its supply chain capabilities in New Zealand, seeking a Network Inventory Planner to optimise stock across branches and DCs. You will analyze demand, balance Min/Max, and drive improvements with ERP/WMS data and Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning, supply chain, replenishment or demand planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
• Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SKU performance, demand variability and lead times to set inventory levels.
• Maintain Min/Max and DRP settings across branches, hubs and distribution centres.
• Rebalance inter-branch stock to improve availability and reduce working capital.
• Manage pack-size rules and identify SKU rationalisation opportunities.
• Track inventory health, including availability, fill rate, turns, weeks of cover and E&O stock.
• Monitor inventory investment and recommend actions to improve ROI.
• Extract and analyse ERP, WMS and business data; develop Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Partner with branches, inventory and DC teams to resolve enquiries and deliver supply-chain improvement projects.
