Job summary

Silverstripe is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Engine Room team in Wellington. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and lead days-to-day finance operations, delivering management reporting, rolling forecasts, and continuous process improvements across Xero, WorkflowMax, and related systems.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent professional accounting credential).
• Minimum 3 years in finance or management accounting.
• Experience with core accounting and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & analysis: monthly management reporting and insights into financial performance.
• Budgets & forecasts: annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and business case analyses.
• Core accounting operations: month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, cash management, payroll compliance support.
• Process review & automation: identify improvements and champion AI/automation in finance.
