Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations in Welkom. The role focuses on optimizing procurement through delivery, improving inventory control, and driving cost efficiencies across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in logistics, inventory management, and strategic sourcing to reduce lead times, ensure product availability, and safeguard regulatory compliance within the Free State region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proven track record of optimizing supply chain performance and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations in Welkom.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
