Job summary

Miele New Zealand is seeking a Logistics & Operations Specialist to optimise inventory and support the Sales team while driving operational excellence across the supply chain. You will work with internal stakeholders and 3PLs to improve inventory performance and customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in inventory management or logistics, and the ability to build relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics or operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory across multiple stock categories to ensure optimal stock availability and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate sales support activities including order processing and stock display.
• Build strong relationships with Sales teams, 3PLs and business partners for seamless operations.
• Monitor inventory performance through stocktakes, reconciliations and proactive planning.
• Manage returns processes including approvals and root cause analysis for improvements.
• Develop KPI reporting and provide insights to support decision-making and performance.
• Collaborate with Australian planning teams and New Zealand stakeholders to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
