MFAT is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a global portfolio from Wellington. The role focuses on maintaining safe, compliant assets and coordinating maintenance, inspections and occupancy matters across posts.

You will report to the Portfolio Manager, work with offshore providers and deliver practical asset management outcomes while ensuring lifecycle planning and risk mitigation across the international portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, facilities or asset management across multiple sites or locations.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with contractors, service providers or operational stakeholders to deliver services and resolve issues.
• Practical knowledge of maintenance, inspections and day-to-day property operations.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, minor works and property-related activities to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Build strong relationships with offshore posts, landlords, service providers and technical specialists to resolve issues and deliver property outcomes.
• Influence property acquisitions, disposals, lease and occupancy management activities across an assigned portfolio.
• Monitor property risks, health and safety, compliance obligations and service provider performance, ensuring issues are addressed or escalated as required.
• Maintain asset information and contribute to asset lifecycle planning, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
